So I just read a bunch about the Saudi Arabian government

Time to vomit for several hours straight

“There is no patent. Could you patent the sun?”

Jonas Salk, M.D.

I deeply, deeply admire this man, the “Conqueror of Polio” as he was called, not simply for his brilliant work and his devotion; but his ethics too. The man understood that his vaccine was not his alone; but belonged to the world. I want to go into Medicine very badly. And I believe that a Doctor has a responsibly beyond all other professions. Any decent Doctor should be putting people before profits. Mr. Salk understood that. I say, if you want money, become a banker or a lawyer; never a doctor.

We look before and after,

And pine for what is not:

Our sincerest laughter

With some pain is fraught;

Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought.

Yet if we could scorn

Hate, and pride, and fear;

If we were things born

Not to shed a tear,

time-real-and-imaginary:

We’ll Go No More A Roving

So, we’ll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.

Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we’ll go no more a-roving
By the light of the moon.
